Podington was used during the Second World War by various American units, including the 92nd Bomb Group. It is now home to Santa Pod Raceway, Europe's first permanent drag racing venue. ABCT unveiled a memorial at the airfield on 26 May 2013. For more info, photographs and videos, click here.
