Airfield of the Week - Holmsley South

Our Airfield of the Week is Holmsley South in the New Forest. This Second World War airfield was used by a variety of transport, bomber and fighter aircraft. The airfield was put on Care and Maintenance in 1946 and the site is now owned by the Forestry Commission.
