Airfield of the Week - Culmhead (Churchstanton)

Culmhead in Somerset, also known as Churchstanton or Tricky Warren, is our Airfield of the Week. The airfield was home to a number of fighter squadrons during the Second World War and saw the entry to service of the RAF's first jet fighter, the Gloster Meteor.
