Turnberry Airfield Book Released

A new 576 page book, Turnberry Airfield by Margaret Morrell (publisher Carn Publishing), is now available. Complete after over twenty years of research, this tremendously extensive book covers all of this famous airfield’s history since World War One to the present day. Such has proved the author’s dedication that she has now uncovered many more names of missing airmen which have now been added to the war memorial on the golf course.

Turnberry Hotel has confirmed to register the book sale as a fundraising activity, and in doing so are signing up for the 1921 Poppy Pledge, therefore do support the purchase of this excellent publication - this applies solely to copies of the book sold within the hotel at Trump Turnberry. A larger-sized hardback book, the retail price is £30.
