Llanelli was a licensed civil airfield for Avro 504K joy-riding use from the late summer of 1919. This sandy site west of the town remained probably the same location when the Welsh Aviation Company awaited flying rights here by the end of June 1921, Llanelli still being a civil landing ground later on in the 1920s.
The following organisations are either based at, use and/or have at least potentially significant connections with the airfield (as at 30/11/2018):
- Llanelli Town Council
Main unit(s) present:
- Welsh Aviation Company
