Sharp-eyed viewers will notice that in all-time great Peter Sellers 1964 film Dr Strangelove the airfield map as seen in an office at the fictional Burpelson Air Force Base depicts Heathrow’s highly distinctive ‘Star of David’ layout, a very rare but perfectly understandable error from brilliant director Stanley Kubrick.
